Some class project supplies are provided in the beginner classes: sewing machines, thread, etc. After you register, you will be contacted about what supplies you will need to bring if any, depending on the classes you have registered for. There will be six sewing machines at the First Cutting Room for your use.

If I cannot make the class I signed up for, what should I do?

Call to reschedule your class time. There will not be a refund given.

Will you be selling supplies/books/materials at the class?

No, but I will share information that I have available with you if you are interested. You will need to purchase your supplies from a local sewing center before your first class.

How do I enroll?

Go to the web page and download the registration form. Select your class and contact me with your request and payment. Some of the classes have limited seating to provide maximum learning to the students, so register soon!

What is the appropriate dress for the class?

Be comfortable! However, for safety reasons you must wear shoes at all times in the sewing room.

Will I have a completed project when I leave the class?

Each hands-on class is unique to the students and their abilities. You will have the assistance of the teacher to help you get through the project in the allotted class time. It is possible that you may have to complete the final steps to the project on your own or continue instructions to complete your project.

What is the best type of machine for home sewing?

There are many types of machines at different price points. I can not recommend one over another. I can only endorse the machines I use in my classes.
